At Kingsley Tree Care & Landscaping logs and woodchip have become a more significant part of our business over the past few years.

No matter whether you choose our seasoned hardwood logs or indeed our seasoned softwood logs, all orders are delivered to your door by the pick-up truck load, ready to use. Causing you minimal mess and inconvenience.

• Where do our logs come from? All our firewood is a natural by-product of our tree and forestry works.
• How should seasoned and part-seasoned logs be stored? You need to protect logs from rain and keep them off the ground in an airy place such as an open sided lean-to. Logs will rot and go mouldy if you keep them completely covered e.g. with a plastic tarpaulin.
• Why should I choose seasoned logs? Seasoned logs are better for burning than unseasoned firewood. Seasoning (usually by leaving the logs for a period of time in the right conditions) enables a reduction of water content. Well seasoned logs are easier to light, produce more heat, and burn more cleanly.

Hardwood Logs - £100 per pick-up load

Hardwood logs are the popular choice if you have an open fire or wood burner. They burn hotter and more efficiently than softwood logs, infact they burn up to 3 times better than softwood logs.

Mixed Logs - £85 per pick-up load

Softwood logs are a great option for wood burners and wood burning stoves. They coming in slightly cheaper than the alternative hardwood option. So you are not only getting value for money, but you can be safe in the knowledge that you are supporting what truly was the first source of renewable energy.

Woodchip - £60 per pick-up load

Rather than going to the garden centre and buying high priced bagged woodchip, why not give us a call and see what we can do to help you. We can offer wood chips for both domestic garden or amenity use.
